1. Who you are contracting with

tachIQ ("the Service") is operated by Harsh Lal ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these Terms. If you are using tachIQ on behalf of a club, agency or other organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your country, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.

2. What tachIQ provides

tachIQ lets footballers publish short skill reels and profile data, and lets scouts and clubs discover players, keep watchlists, write private scouting reports and send contact, trial and contract offers. tachIQ is a discovery and communication platform. We are not a football agency, we do not represent players or clubs, and we are not a party to any trial, contract or transfer agreed between users.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at hlal8483@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular you must not: use it unlawfully; commit fraud or send spam; impersonate another person, player or club; upload footage you do not have the rights to; upload content featuring identifiable minors without the consent of a parent or guardian; harass, threaten or exploit other users; infringe anyone's intellectual property; or interfere with the Service's security, including malware, probing, scraping or circumventing technical limits. Our full Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these Terms.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the reels, images and text you upload. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content solely to operate and promote the Service. You are responsible for having all necessary rights and consents in the footage you upload. Rights holders can request a takedown by emailing hlal8483@gmail.com; we remove infringing content and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

6. Our intellectual property

We retain ownership of the Service and all intellectual property in it, including the software, design, branding and documentation. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service. You must not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute it.

7. Fees, payment and subscriptions

Player accounts are free. Scouts and clubs pay one-off fees per action, listed on our Pricing page. Fees are charged at the moment an action is taken, in USD, plus any applicable sales tax or VAT.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, together with our Refund Policy.

8. Service level and warranties

We work to keep tachIQ available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Player ratings, attributes and recommendations are indicative only and must not be relied on as professional, medical, financial or legal advice.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data, opportunity or goodwill. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Indemnity

You indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time. On termination your access ends; you can request an export of your content within 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the app or by email, and continued use after the effective date means you accept them.

13. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Harsh Lal is established, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
